SESSION(S): Advancing New Policies to Close the Racial Wealth Gap

Kim Addie is a dynamic and results-driven leader, currently serving as the Vice President of Strategy and Impact for the Atlanta Wealth Building Initiative. With a strong focus on promoting racial and economic justice, Kim has amassed over 16 years of experience in the non-profit and philanthropic sectors. She has successfully guided more than $20 million in public-private partnerships, managed diverse investment portfolios, and fostered grassroots initiatives from their inception to regional prominence. Kim’s outstanding leadership was evident in her previous role as the Associate Vice President of Place-Based Initiatives at United Way of Greater Atlanta. There, she led a team that spearheaded multi-year, cross-sector initiatives and directed pivotal investments to improve outcomes for communities with low child well-being in metro Atlanta.  

In addition, Kim is an ABFE fellow, a sought-after motivator, an engaging public speaker, and a dedicated champion of individuals reaching their fullest potential. Originally hailing from New York, Kim is a proud mother of four and currently resides in Atlanta with her husband and beloved dog, Bailey.
