Ruby Kinder

Ruby Kinder supports MDC Rural Forward’s projects within the Northeastern counties of Halifax and Northampton. She also supports MDC’s work with the North Carolina Tax Credit Coalition in its effort to provide tax and economic mobility support throughout the state.

Ruby is a dual degree student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a B.A. and Master’s Degree in Public Policy with a minor in Religious Studies. Her professional interests include the intersection between Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Public Policy, Economic Development, and Social Policy and Inequity.

She joined the MDC Rural Forward team in 2023.
