Tasha Hall-Garrison
Tasha Hall-Garrison is a Savannah State University graduate with over 9 years of municipal government experience and expertise in quantifying the connectivity between community desires and economic growth.
While serving the City of College Park, Ga as the Community Development Administrator, she led the transformation of the Department of Code Compliance by implementing community outreach & engagement efforts and creating interdepartmental communication channels.
Tasha is a six-time Brownfield recipient, who has received over $1.6M in Federal grant assistance. She was instrumental in the attraction of the Atlanta Hawks’ G League Team, the College Park Skyhawks, and its home, the Arena @ Gateway Center, which was completed in 2019, and the preservation of Flint Headwaters by creating a nature preserve.
She continues to advocate for attainable housing, urban agriculture, and multi-modal mobility through the use of Community Development as a stimulus for Economic Development growth. It is her goal to ensure an increased quality of life for all.
When she is not serving her community, Tasha can be found with her daughter Harmony and dog Max at her local farmer’s markets, record stores, or supporting small and micro businesses
