Tatjyana Elmore

SESSION(S): Developing Policies to Support a Southern Educational Equity Agenda

Tatjyana Elmore is the interim president of Black Child Development Institute (BCDI) – Atlanta, a certified Career Coach, President/Founder of Children’s Early Learning Academy, and Founder of Career Education Station. Ms. Elmore received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from DeVry University and a master of arts in adult education from Central Michigan University. She has been DECAL Bright since she began working in Georgia. She has been a certified Level 2 Intermediate trainer since 2012. Ms. Elmore provides training support and coaching to EHS/HS staff, licensed early learning centers, and CDA graduates.

Ms. Elmore has extensive experience with marketing planning for small businesses, fundraising, charity events, project implementation, project management, and grant writing through government and commercial Requests for Proposals, (RFP).

Ms. Elmore is a published author, writing in collaboration with early childhood professionals. She currently serves as the board treasurer for the National Black Child Development Institute-Atlanta. She is passionate about BCDI-Atlanta’s mission and vision to make a difference in Georgia for children and families of color.
